| March 8th 2009 I have to say that was one of the best classes I've taken and one of the most fun times I've had riding in a long time. I was bummed seeing all the snow when I got there, but after an hour to get there and no riding alternatives for the day, I figured I'd stick it out. Glad I did. Scott had to improvise on what he taught because of the snow and later the sloppy mud conditions, but pulled it off very well. I'll definitely take his class again to pick up the stuff we didn't have an opportunity to cover because of the sloppy conditions. If you're looking for a riding class, I highly recommend Scot's SteffyMX School. Paul #73 |
| February 27th 2009 The class went great, and I was happy to follow your lesson plan through the whole thing. I am not hesitant to admit that, very early in the day, I felt like I was going to have a panic attack. That was when I mentioned that I may just go off and practice turns while you worked with Ron. I appreciate the way you gave me options, and that helped me get through my anxiety and continue on without feeling pressured. I just need seat time more than anything, but structured and supervised seat time. The worst thing about open practice is that I am having too much fun to practice specifics, and I get in survival mode and just ride. I didn't feel like you took anything for granted or made assumptions, and that was a big plus for me. Another thing that I REALLY appreciated was your joy at hearing Ron wind his engine out at the end of the day. You seemed to sincerely enjoy seeing a student take a step in the right direction... you've been teaching for years and years, but I could tell you still take pleasure in watching a student get better. There is a quote for your website. Thanks again. I look forward to more training with you. Patrick C #22 |
